On the morning of August 12, a delegation led by Shanghai Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor Yang Xiong, and including Shanghai Vice Mayor Jiang Zhuoqing, Shanghai Government Secretary General Li Yiping, Deputy Secretary General Huang Rong, SEPB Director General Zhang Quan, SCIP AC Director Zhou Minhao visited SECCO for a survey.
After listening to a report by SECCO GM Wu Haijun at CCR, Mayor Yang Xiong particularly asked about basic status of SECCO environmental protection work, especially the work carried out and achievement made in handling VOCs. Municipal leaders were fully affirmative about the work that SECCO did at the aspect of environmental protection, and requested relevant departments and enterprises to be self-pressurized, proactively adopt international advanced standards, continuously improve environmental protection level in the industry. Relevant people from SECCO Production Department and HSSE&Q Department accompanied in the survey.
