On July 10, the ceremony of 10th anniversary of SECCO commercial operation with “better future, better us” as theme was successfully held in Renaissance Shanghai Yangtze Hotel. Over 200 cooperative partners attended the ceremony, including Li Nanjing, general manager of Kingfa Science & Technology Company Limited, Qu Jianbo, assistant president of SinoChem International (holding) Company Limited, Chirs Cowell, GM of Lucite International (China) Chemical Company Limited, Dr. Roland Stegmueller, Site GM of Bayer Material Science (China) Company Limited, and Chen Yan, president of VOPAK (China).

The ceremony was aimed at expressing thanks to cooperative partners for providing unremitting support to SECCO in the 10 years of SECCO commercial operation, also hoped to use the time-point with milestone meaning as a starting point, various cooperative partners can continue to work togetherwith SECCO with mutual trust and prosperity to create brilliance again! The ceremony mainly included two parts –“Economic and Chemical Industry Seminar” and an acknowledgement dinner.

On the seminar in the afternoon, SECCO commercial director Mike Zhang reviewed the history of SECCO commercial operation in the past 10 years, and extended sincere thanks to cooperative partners for giving SECCO great support and help. Then, Sun Lijian, a special guest, director of Finance Research Center of Fudan University, and Pang Xiongying, vice president of IHS Chemical (China) deeply interpreted future development trend of economic, energy and chemical industries and current macro-economic status with “economic and chemical industries” as the theme. Mr. Pang Xiongying put forward that under the influence of macro-economic environment, chemical industry will face headwind, but we should not ignore chances in the future, such as a brand new space brought to chemical by preferential policy, open market and green environmental protection.
