On the afternoon of March 21, Shanghai Petrochemical Academy (SPA) and SECCO Petrochemical Company jointly held the opening ceremony for SPA SECCO class in the multi-function conference room of SPA. Paul Bowdler, Production Director of SECCO, Wang Bingyu, HR Director of SECCO, Lily Song, Deputy HR Director of SEC-CO, Lin Guoxin, Vice-president of SPA, Luan Chengwei, Director of Academic Affairs Office and forty students of SECCO class attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Lin Guoxin and Wang Bingyu signed “School-company Cooperation and Internship Agreement”. Mr. Lin gave sincere words and earnest wishes to students; Lily Song delivered SECCO’s requirements and expectations to them; Paul Bowdler introduced the current status and future development of SECCO; at last, Zhang Weiwei, a graduate from SPA who is now working in SECCO Production Department, shared with the students her working experience and stories of growth in SECCO.

The opening of 2014 SECCO class in SPA marked another milestone of school-company cooperation between SPA and SECCO since 2003. The students of SECCO class will start their training and practice on process flow and other areas in SECCO in September for 10 months and those who pass the examination and final evaluation will become SECCO new projects’ employees.
