SECCO granted its first national patent Date：2011-12-05    By：SECCO
Recently SECCO has been granted its first invention patent ‘High Impact High Gloss Bimodal PS Material and Preparation Method’. It was developed independently by SECCO.

This patent has been successfully applied to the development of product HIPS532. It has solved the conflict between product impact strength and elongation property and helped to develop the market for the application of yoghurt cups with high Height/Diameter ratio. Since late Y2009, 52,703 tons HIPS532 has been sold and this has created minimum 10 million RMB benefits to SECCO and saved more than 1 million RMB in raw material.

Moreover, with this patent granted, effective term of national tax support for HIPS532 High-tech Achievement Transformation Project is extended to 8 years from 5 years. This is a milestone for SECCO and demonstrates self help which is essential in the present difficult economic climate.
