BP 2011 China Regional Driving Championship which was undertaken by SECCO closed its curtain successfully at SCIP in the evening of 14th October. The contestants from SECCO swept the first three places in the heavy vehicle group. This was SECCO’s another exciting achievement following wining twice heavy vehicle championship in the previous competitions in China consecutively.
BP International Driving Championship is driving safety skills and awareness competition for BP employees and contractors all over the world, sponsored by BP Group every two year. There were 43 drivers from ten BP China owned or JV com-panies joined the championship. The competition was started on 12th October. The competing items includes first aid, fire extinguishing, site driving, driving theory test, defensive driving assessment, vehicle inspection and speed judging etc., which make a full evaluation of drivers’ safety awareness.
Chen Liming, President of BP China and BP Group Chemical Global Business President Mr. Nick Elmslie attended the opening and closing ceremony.
