SECCO won BP´s highest award Date：2010-10-21    By：SECCO
On the evening of October 21, 2010, the Helios Awards ceremony took place in London, with 16 finalist teams from across the company celebrating their achievements with BP’s senior leaders. The SECCO team from China won the “Responsible” category - one of the four BP brand values, and scooped the “BP at its best “award, reflecting all four of BP values through the entry entitled: A Role Model for Safety in China. This made for one of the more memorable moments of the evening.

This entry narrates how exemplary safety performance was delivered at SECCO with advanced management, relentless efforts and close cooperation with its Chinese partners as well as the local community. With 86 million man-hours and 63.3 million kilometers driven over the past 8 years, SECCO has achieved outstanding safety results with no fatalities, no major accidents, no reportable environmental events, and a lower recordable injury frequency against its peers within the group, despite the challenging operating conditions. Local community and governmental agencies regard SECCO as a Force for Good.
