Mr. Mark Wilson, Deputy General Manager of SECCO, was conferred by Shanghai Municipality the “Magnolia Award” of 2010. The awarding ceremony was held at the Convention Center of Xi Jiao Hotel in the afternoon of 17th December, 2010.
Since 1989, the Magnolia Award has been given out each year to recognize and celebrate foreigners who make prominent contributions to Shanghai’s economy, social development and external exchange. It is the supreme honor to the foreign people in Shanghai. Mark was chosen as the recipient of this year’s award because he has been able to lead SECCO to reach significant business achievement as well as outstanding safety records during the past four years. Beyond this, his remarkable efforts in social responsibility and Sino-UK culture and business exchange are also being recognized and appreciated through the bestowal of this award. Mark is honored to be the fifth person winning this award in SECCO history.
