Recently SECCO has been rewarded again for its energy saving management achievements. After having been rewarded by Shanghai Municipality at 2,712,900 RMB for energy saving innovations, SECCO’s energy saving innovation project for convection sections in 3# to 7# cracking heaters of cracker unit was rewarded by SCIP again for energy saving innovations at the same amount as Shanghai Municipal’s. It was the first project applying for this reward and getting it in SCIP and SECCO was the only company receiving this reward from SCIP in 2013.

SCIP has set up this energy saving innovation reward since 2013, rewarding Shanghai Municipality rewarded energy saving innovation projects at the same amount as Shanghai Municipality’s, and rewarding the rest energy saving innovation projects at 300 RMB/ton standard coal. Based on this policy, SECCO’s energy saving innovation projects that have saved the energy greater than 500 tons standard coal since 2013 can enjoy the rewards both from Shanghai Municipality and from SCIP.

From 2008 to now, SECCO has applied 14 projects successively for Shanghai Municipality’s reward for energy saving innovations, saving averagely 115,000 tons standard coal a year and having been totally awarded 19,000,000 RMB. Let’s keep up our efforts to proactively tap potentialities of SECCO’s saving more energy in 2014 for more rewards, not only for company’s benefits but also for social benefits!
