	On Dec. 30 th , The signature ceremony for the mechanical completion of Shanghai SECCO 900KTA ethylene project was held in Jinshan, Shanghai Municipality on Dec. 30, 2004 , indicating that the domestically largest major petrochemical project has been overall completed and has realized mechanical completion successfully. The construction of the entire project has cost 48,700,000 man-hours and lasted for 33 months. Mr. Hu Yanzhao, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, Mr. Wang Jiming, Vice Chairman and President of Sinopec Corp. and Deputy General Manager of Sinopec Group, Mr. Gary Dirks, President of BP China attended this ceremony.
	On Dec. 30, the mechanical completion and intermediate turnover of 600KTA PE plant were realized. The construction of this plant, for which the EPC contract was signed between SECCO IPMT and the contractors TECHNIP/SSEC in April 2003, has lasted for 23 months.
	On Dec. 21 st , SECCO EB/SM unit was mechanically completed as scheduled.
	On Dec. 21 st and 22 nd , the mechanical completion of AN Plant and SAR Plant of SECCO project was achieved on schedule respectively.
	On Dec. 20 th , the mechanical completion and intermediate turnover of 900KTA ethylene plant were realized.
	On Dec. 20 th , SECCO realized the mechanical completion of BEU plant as scheduled.
	On Dec. 18 th , Mr. Jiang Yiren, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Shanghai Municipality, and Mr. Hu Yanzhao, Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipality and their entourages visited the construction site of Shanghai SECCO 900KTA ethylene project.
	On Dec. 16 th , SECCO has achieved mechanical completion for the PS plant per schedule.
	On Dec. 16 th , Ethylene was introduced into Cryogenic Ethylene Tanks
	On Dec. 13 th , SECCO moved to new office building at Caojing
	On Dec. 8 th , Mr. Zhou Yupeng, Vice Mayor of Shanghai City, and his entourage visited the construction site of Shanghai SECCO 900KTA ethylene project.
	On Dec. 1 st , SECCO three-phase Sap system is technically completed and ready to execute all our current and future business processes.

	On Nov. 18 th , SECCO formally signed off the Anhydrous Ammonia Supply and Purchase Agreement with Yara, the worldwide known ammonia supplier.
	On Nov. 18 th , SECCO signed off a long-term natural gas supply agreement with Shanghai Natural Gas Pipeline Network Co., Ltd. (SNGC).
	On Nov. 16 th , SECCO formally signed off the Road Transportation Service Contracts for Solid Products with three logistics service providers (Shanghai Ba-shi Yuexin Logistics Development Co., Ltd., SCIP Logistics Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Port International Container Forwarding Co., Ltd.
	On Nov. 12 th , the first shipment of pressurized propylene was successfully introduced to SECCO. This is the first introduction of flammable liquid stream to SECCO.
	On Nov. 10 th , SECCO organized ”Community Open Day” event, inviting 40 local citizens to visit SECCO site.
	On Nov. 10 th , SECCO OSBL project- ground flare is successfully ignited.
	On Nov. 8 th , SECCO first E-banking Project with ICBC Go-Live Ceremony was held at Fareast Plaza .
	On Nov. 8th, the mechanical completion and intermediate turnover of 250KTA PP plant were realized. This plant realized mechanical completion two months in advance after 21 months of construction. This is the first main process production plant that realized mechanical completion in the Shanghai SECCO 900KTA ethylene project.
	On Nov. 2 nd , Ralph Alexander, CEO of BP Chemical and CEO of NEWCO, visited SECCO site.

	On Oct. 28 th , Secco Commercial Department PE/PP Group held the first distributor meeting.
	On Oct. 25 th , SECCO 2# Boiler has a successful ignition.
	On Oct. 12 th , the 13 th Board Meeting of Shanghai Secco Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was held in Far East Office, Shanghai , on October 12 th , 2004 . The Board Meeting was chaired by Mr. Lu Yiping, Chairman of the Board.
	On Oct. 11 th , a SINOPEC team consists of 5 experts on safety and 27 on quality audited SECCO, focusing on project management of safety and quality prior to mechanical completion.
	On Oct. 6 th , SECCO achieved one of the most important milestone of its project: the heart of the ethylene facility—the Charge Gas Compressor C-2000 was successfully commissioned. This success symbolizes the start up of production preparation period.

	In September, Mr. Jack Brinly, SECCO deputy project director, was rewarded by Shanghai Municipality the Magnolia Award.
	On Sep. 25 th , Mr. Chen Tonghai, President of Sinopec Group and the Chairman of Sinopec Corp. visited SECCO site.
	On Sep. 24 th , Mr. Chen Jinhua, former deputy president of National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) visited SECCO, accompanied by Mr. Wang Jimin, Vice-president of Sinopec Group and the Vice-chairman and President of Sinopec Corp.
	On Sept. 23 rd , Mr. Chen Liangyu, member of Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of Shanghai Municipal committee of the Communist Party of China, and Mr. Liu Yungeng, Vice Secretary of Shanghai Municipal committee of the Communist Party of China and their entourages surveyed Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, during which they made an inspection tour of the construction site of Shanghai SECCO 900KTA ethylene project, accompanied by Mr. Wang Jiming, Vice General Manager of SINOPEC Group and Vice Chairman and President of SINOPEC Co., Ltd.
	In September, SECCO got approval for our application for the three interlocking ellipses image as a trademark for Category 1 Commodities. Trademark Division of State Administration for Industry and Commerce has awarded SECCO with the Trademark Registration Certificate.

	On Aug. 25 th , Mr. Wang Jimin, Vice-president of Sinopec Group and the Vice-chairman and President of Sinopec Corp. convened and presided over a site meeting in Caojing, which officially passed the holistic commissioning plan of Shanghai SECCO 900ktpa ethylene project.
	On Aug. 23 rd , SECCO achieved another key milestone of its project: No. 1 Boiler was successfully ignited! The operation of the boiler will supply steam for all of the process units, laying a solid foundation for production preparation and unit operation.
	On Aug. 10 th , SECCO participated the community meeting with Fengxian government and local representatives.

On July 27 th , about 300 SPA students entered into Caojing site and started their career in SECCO as operators and technicians in JV Production.

	On June 24 th , the 12th Board Meeting of Shanghai SECCO Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was held in Fareast Office Shanghai.
	On June 16 th , SECCO Polyolefin Business Team signed the first pre-marketing sales order of SECCO: “Annual PE Procurement Agreement” and “Product Procurement Contract ” with Hangzhou Wanda Plastic Bottle Co Ltd.

	On May 31 st , SECCO signed the Ethylene Supply Agreement with Shanghai Tian Yuan Group Hua Sheng Chemical Company Limited.
	On May 27 th , SECCO and SCIPLOG signed the PHU service contract. This is the first production outsourcing contract of SECCO.
	On May 25, 2004 , Shanghai SECCO 900KTA ethylene project was listed as State-grade major project in accordance with the sprint of Circular of State Development & Reforming Committee on Printing and Distributing the List of State Major Projects ( fagaitouzi [2004] No. 950 document ).
	From May 24 th to 30 th , SECCO organized “ SECCO Road Safety School Tour” event at 10 primary schools in Jinshan area, aiming to promote the road safety awareness among local community.
	On May 17 th , SECCO was awarded Grade-A BP China Y2003 Tax Health-check Award
	On May 12 th , after being evaluated by the 5th Branch of Shanghai Tax Bureau, Secco passed the examination and was granted Y2003 Grade A Finance and Accounting System Credit rating and awarded certificate.

On April 21 st , his Royal Highness Prince Andrew, The Duke of York of United Kingdom visited Secco Caojing site accompanied by ambassador of the British Embassy.

	On Mar. 28 th , SECCO 220KV substation was successfully energized, symbolizing that SECCO's power supply is ensured. This is the first finished construction milestone handed over from IPMT to JV.
	On Mar. 18 th , the 11th meeting of the Board of Directors of SECCO was held at Caojing office. The JV business update, the IPMT project progress and the production preparation were reviewed by the Board in this meeting.
	On Mar. 4 th , SECCO participated the first meeting with Caojing government and local community
	On Mar. 1 st , SECCO signed the contract with Vopak Shanghai Logistics Company for SECCO's use of the jetty at SCIP.

	On Feb. 23, Mr. Wang Jiming, Vice General Manager of SINOPEC Group and Vice Chairman and President of SINOPEC Co., Ltd, presided at a site report meeting regarding Shanghai SECCO 900KTA ethylene project, during which the issues currently existing in SECCO project progress and production preparations were coordinated in a timely manner.
	The 1 st Trade Union Representative Forum of Secco was held in Caojing Office. Work Report of Secco Trade Union Preparation Committee was audited and passed in the forum, the 1st Trade Union Committee of Secco was elected and the 1st Trade Union Budget Audit Committee of Secco was established through election. Li Weichang was elected Chairman of Trade Union Committee.

On Jan. 19 th , SECCO Internet Website Launch ceremony was held at Fareast.
